Die analysis
An overview of dies is given in Table 2. Specimens 1 and 2 were struck from the same reverse die R1. The reverse die R2 used for specimen 3 differs from the R1 die mainly in the different gathering of Athena’s clothing above her waist, her thinner necklace, and the higher plumes of her helmet.
